We’re doing a Mystery Quilt in FEBRUARY – here are the instructions from Laura Newbry so you can prep.
Cutting Instructions for different sizes
What’s happening in January?
We are scheduled for a Friday Night in January. You can make the Queen Bee Bag OR work on your own projects! If you’ve already made the bag, please bring your bag for a sample for everyone to see.
January 16, 2015 – FRIDAY
Friday Night Sew-a-thon – Free Sew from 4:00 pm to 10:00pm – Make the 120 Minute Queen Bee (Mat and Ruler) Bag (shown above) – Instructions here! or just bring your own project to work on.
Queen Bee Bag samples will be available and those that have already made the bag may be able to help you with your questions. Download instructions and buy your materials and other supplies in advance. There will be no teacher. Suggestions for the project – get a stiff liner/interfacing to help bag stand up better; cut before you come and if you’re using charm packs, sew your patchwork together before you arrive.
Themed Show and Tell
In order to build excitement for next month’s Mystery Quilt, let’s share a Mystery Quilt (2002, 2008, 2014) you made with Loose Threads or bring a Mystery Quilt you made with another group.
