Loose Threads Next Meeting

March 14, 2016 –  Second Monday

Regular meeting from 4-8pm. Bring your own projects to sew or…

Theme: Rag Rugs with Michelle Cutler.  A note from Michelle: For those of you that would like to do the rag rug on March 14. Here is a list of what you will need.

  • A large blue crochet needle
  • 3 large safety pins
  • fabric, scrap fabric, or sheets. At less three sheets or 4 to 5 yards of fabric. You can use scrap binding for this project since your strips will be 2 and 1/2 inches. This amount of fabric will get you started. The total amount needed will depend on the size you want your rug. Note, I recommend using old sheets or scrap fabric since this does use a lot of material.

Good ways to use up scrap bindings or fabric you don’t want or like anymore.
